This is my oldest unposted FOs, Grid Pattern Dishcloth Bib, finished it months ago, just didn’t get to take pics til now.

Pattern taken from cheapknittingpatterns.com, but instead of finishing it off as a dishcloth, I kept going with one set of the grid pattern to continue as a strap & made it a bib.
Initially, I’d use the same yarn to make Miss Thing Baby Bib, pattern by Linda Ball, The Knitorious Mrs. B. However the color & the pattern made the bib looks too messy for my liking so I unraveled it & tried Modern Cabled Baby Bib by Andrea Pomerantz. Came out too small for Arieanna to use, so unraveled again.
Got a little dishearten to make another project with that yarn since it doesn’t always looks good on any pattern due to the colors, but I don’t want the yarn to sit there looking pretty, also not wanting Russ to have any reason to not let me buy more yarn, I looks through all the patterns I saved in my pc & found this dishcloth pattern (well it's Russ’ pc since mine’s pretty much dead, ‘Dada, I’ll give you your desktop back if u give me a laptop *angelic smile*’ lol), the pic in that pattern was made with multicolor yarn too so I’m like what the hack, give it a try. TADAA!! Not too bad, the simplicity of the pattern show off the colors nicely & the way it’s knitted, the colors looks like a pattern on its own. All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with the way it came out.
As for the legwarmers, had to stop for now since I don't have enough yarn to make it, welp, will probly get more when we have alil more greens to spare.
After that I was working on a sleep sack for her, in case you have no idea what I’m talking about, it’s a blanket that babies can wear so they can’t kick it up & suffocate themselves instead, since SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) seems pretty common here, I really don’t think I want to take the chance.
I found the pattern on Knitty.com (an awesome site for knitters), instructions seems pretty simple but I had a little prob understand the shaping of the armhole, no matter how I counted it, I’m always 1 st short, emailed the author but didn’t get any respond, so I decided to use it as a guide & make the adjustment myself. The original was to knit the whole thing in a color & then embroidered the zodiac sign on it later but I want it to be different so I was wondering how I can make it unique. The pattern required 2 buttons around the neckline so I ransack through what I have & found these lil cuties.

So that was my inspirations, this was how it looked like in the beginning.
Was about half way done.
I really like the way it looks, I guess this is the best looking 1 at that time, however, due to the way I do the changing of colors, the black yarn is lining in the inside & it feels too thick & stiff for my liking so I did the unthinkable & unraveled the whole damn thing.
Yes it hurts :’( but it’s better to undo it now & make a more comfortable 1 then finishing it & found out that it’s not gona work & unravel then, which I bet would hurt even more. I came across the technique of intarsia so ima try that but I haven’t have the motivation to do it yet.
More about it on the next FOs post. ;)
