These are what I've knitted up for Xmas, Just a couple elves hats, a Santa hat for Russ & a green sweater for Arieanna, I only have the elves hats pics right now & its not really completed yet, still have a lil finishing touch to do.
This was originally for Arieanna, for it came out too big so I tried it on Sarah, kinda tight on her but perfect fit for Jen :D
This is how her hat looks like now.
The rings became her heels lol.
Last Sat we has heavy show coming down & it's Arieanna's 1st experience of snow (well the 1st time she can actually experience & play in it) so we bundled her up & let her step out. Every time she step put of the house, she knows exactly where to walk, on the pavement but that day everything was covered in snow so she has no clue what to do with herself so she's all over the place, kinda comical lol.
This is to show you how lost she was lol
there was no pavement to guide her so she stayed close to the fence.

Russ had to go back to his store on Xmas eve to deliver Xmas food for his employees & do some paperwork so we all went together, this is what we ladies do while we're waiting... photo taking sessions lol.

Russ said he has a traditon of opening 1 present be Xmas so we let her open the gift from Russ ex-manager Sue.
But most of the time she just want to stand on it lol

Griffin's Seeded Rib Pullover
The cold weather is here so I decided to make her a sweater but all the project b4 this was usually small or seamless, I hate to seam & from what I read I'm pretty sure there's alot of liked minds out but I really like the look of this sweater so I figured there's always a 1st in everything, might as well try it. after reading it through, I realised that I can actually knit it in round, YAY for me! so I briefly the pattern for knitting in round & improvise as I go along. so this sweater was knitted bottom up in round & then the sleeves stitches are picked up by the shoulder & knitted down, in round. I followed the pattern tru for the body, realised that I've could have minus 4 stitches for the seams but I really don't want to tear the would thing apart so I left it at that, really doesn't matter now that I look at it. The sleeves however took me a while to do the calculation & figuring how to knit it backwards but I actually managed it, absolutely loves my trusty pencil & writing pads :D
Was trying on a pullover that I just finished. The paper was laid out for her to draw with the new baby grip crayola crayons but she ended up playing with it.

This is how the sweater looks like, I also extended it a couple of inchs to make it tunic like, now it looks like a mini dress lol. It actually looks looks kinda nice when it worn over something else but when She's just wearing the pullover & nothing else...
... it slide right off her shoulders, now it looks like off shoulder mini dress lol!

Juniper Bonnet
When I 1st saw this bonnet, I fell in love with it, I can see that it's made with feather & fan pattern so I was pretty certain that I can make it. When I 1st finished it, the bottom edge just barely touched her ear & I actually followed the largest size pattern, that makes me wonder if Arieanna really have George Lopez's head lol! I really like this bonnet & since the yarn I used is limited, I can't just make a new one so I unraveled everything (yes... again, I wondered if I actually unraveled more then I knitted) & remade it but this time, with extra pattern rows & now its too big... @#$%! but at least she can grow into it lol!

I also change the decrease patter to make it look more like a design rather then just decrease.
I wonder if it'll stop falling back like a hoodie if I made it longer/deeper.
I also added beads to the ends of the tie string coz I got bored lol
I wanted to post the edited pattern but when I was reading it on my writing pad I realised I only wrote half of them down, & there's 2 version of them so now I dont know which 1 is the correct one, oh crap! well 1 thing for certain is I cast on 96 sts but if you want it alil smaller then the 1 I made, you could try 78 sts instead. I section of the feather & fan is 18 sts so you can gauge & do the math from there.
